TROY — Two Troy teenagers are in custody following an attempted break-in early Thursday morning.

Kevin Kramer, owner of Carl’s Cruise-In, 929 W. Main St., caught the two suspects breaking out a side window of his business and called 9-1-1 at 5:47 a.m. Thursday, according to Troy Police Department Captan Joe Long.

The suspects, Allen Harlow, 19, of Troy, and Tyler Moore, 18, of also of Troy, ran into a residential area behind the drive through where they were apprehended by a sheriff’s office deputy on patrol in the area, Long said.

Harlow was arrested on charges of attempted breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools, underage consumption of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia. Moore faces charges of breaking and entering, CCW and possession of criminal tools.

Moore was armed with a BB gun in his waistband, Long said.

Both suspects are incarcerated in the Miami County Jail and will be arraigned today.
