Livestock trailer thieves caught in Bethel Twp.

BETHEL TWP. — Miami County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen livestock trailer and arrested two individuals connected with the crime in the early morning hours on Wednesday.

The trailer was reported stolen from a home in the 4000 block of State Route 201, Bethel Twp. at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Ten minutes later, a deputy on patrol in the Bethel Township, observed a Black Dodge Durango pulling a red livestock trailer travelling south on S. State Route 201 at Studebaker Road. The trailer had no lights.

The owner was contacted and came to the scene of the traffic stop and positively identified his stock trailer.

The driver of the black Dodge Durango, Amber May Tuttle, 24, of Dayton and the passenger, Scott Anthony Finfrock, 28, of Dayton, were arrested for receiving stolen property.

During the inventory of the Dodge Durango, criminal tools were located including two pairs of bolt cutters.

Both Finfrock and Tuttle were charged with breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools. They remain incarcerated at the Miami County Jail with a $20,000 cash bond.’
