BYRON, Ga. — Bob and Toshie Denison were married Oct. 12, 1956, at U.S. Army Chapel, Tokyo, Japan.
Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force on March 1, 1974, in Spokane, Wash., and moved back to Troy, Ohio, where he sold cars at Troy Ford. Bob retired from Friendly’s Ice Cream as a semi driver in July 1991. Toshie retired from Panasonic in 1996.
They toured on motorcycles for 10 years and then full-tim RV for eight years.
They moved to Crossville, Tenn. in 1998. They now live in Byron, Ga., where Bob is retoring a B-17G World War II Bomber. This will be an approximately eight year project at the Museum of Aviation, Warner Robins, Ga.
They have two sons, Raymond (Lori) Denison of Bradford, Ohio, and Steven Denison of Decatur, Ga.; two granddaughters, Lauren Denison of Bradford and Madison Lawrence of Columbus, Ohio; and one great-grandson, Hunter of Bradford.
