John Campbell
1757-1838

John was born in Ireland and came to Cumberland County Pennsylvania in 1773. He died in Miami County Ohio and is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery at Piqua.

John was drafted in 1777 and was a Sergent in the Pennsylvania State Troops, and served part time as a private in the Pennsylvania Militia. He was in the battles of Germantown, Brandywine, and White Plains.
