Matthew Farmer

Matthew was born in Chesterfield County, Virginia, and died in Miami County Ohio . His Will was dated 13 August 1834, and recorded in Miami County in October 1835. He is buried in the McKendree Cemetery.

He enlisted in Halifax County Virginia in 1780, and served three months as a sergent in Joshua Powell's Company, Colonel Fleming's Regiment of the Virginia Line.
