Nathaniel Gerard

Nathaniel was born in Virginia about the year 1754. After the Revolution he was living near Columbia in Hamilton County Ohio. Then in 1799 he came north and settled at Dutch Station in what is now Staunton, Miami County Ohio. He died there in 1832, but his grave has not been indentified.

He served as a private in the Bedford County Pennsylvania Militia and as a Major in the 2nd Regiment of Militia, Huntingdon County Pennsylvania.
