He came from Pennsylvania to Kentucky, then to Miami County Ohio in 1806. He Will was drawn up in 1832 and Probated in 1837.

His War Record in not known by this writer, however he is shown in DAR Roster I, and in the 1880 History of Miami County Ohio.
