Levi Martin
1752-1835

Levi was born in Chester County Pennsylvania. He first came to Ohio in 1788 (likely with his brother Joseph), then returned to Pennsylvania in 1789, came back to Ohio in 1791 and setled in Miami County in 1800.

He had enlisted during 1780 in the Pennsylvania Militia, Bedford County, under Colonal Piper, and served with Captins Paxton, McIntyre, and Enslow for two and one-half years as an Indian spy.
