John Orbison
1750-1827

John was born in Welsh Run, Franklin County Pennsylvania. He came to Miami County Ohio in 1806. Died here in 1827 and is buried in the Forrest Hill Cemetery at Piqua. He had two brothers who were also officers during the Revolution. They were William and Thomas Orbison.

John was a First Lt. in Captain George Crawford's Company from 1777 to 1778, Pennsylvania Line, and was a Captain in 1780-1782.
