Albert Pawling
1749-1837
He was a Colonel, commanding a Regiment and saw action with General
Richard Montgomery at the capture of St. Johns, Quebec Province in the
fall of 1775. Albert was at the siege of Quebec where Montgomery was killed,
and also fought in the battles of Monmouth and White Plains.
