Benjamin Pegg
1752-1846

Benjamin served in Captain Piggott's Company, 8th Regiment, Penn Continental Line from August 1776 to September 1777. He came to Miami County Ohio in 1834. Miami County Pension record of June 1, 1840. It is thought that he died in an old log cabin near the Millhouse Farm in Springcreek Township. He was likely buried in the Hillard Graveyard in Piqua, but no gravestone has been found, just statements from witnesses.
