"I am currently working on a short history of
the 71st Ohio Volunteer Infantry which was raised in 1861 in Auglaize, Mercer,
and Miami Counties and served until 1866. I would be
interested in hearing from anyone who has information about that Regiment
- ancestors who served in the Regiment, photographs that pertain to the
Regiment (during or after the War,) or stories about members of the Regiment.
