MAHAN, ALEXANDER - Alexander Mahan, aged 60, died at his home northeast of Troy Monday evening, the cause of his death being pneumonia.  He was a prominent farmer and highly respected by all.  He is survived by his wife and four children.  The funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the late residence.

MAHAN, CHARLES ALEXANDER - Sodom--Charles Alexander Mahan died April 11 of congestion of the brain.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Mahan and was born near St. Paris March 21, 1851.  In 1875 he was united in marriage with Sarah Ellen Moon.  He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, one grandchild, three brothers, three sisters and his father.  He was a member of Charity Chapel church.  The funeral was held from Charity Chapel April 13 and was conducted by Rev. Cain.  Interment at Plattsville.  Mr. Mahan was one of Miami county's best farmers and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
