CASSTOWN ITEMS
The funeral of Isaac Shook took place here last Monday. Mr Shook was one of the oldest resedents of this Township. He lived a life of probity, and his good honor was never called in question. His word was at all times as good as his bond, and to escape a debt he would never barter his honor. His life was simple, his habits the very best, and when he died this community lost a citizen of whom it was justly proud. Ripe for the reaper death, he had died square with the world, owing no man a penny, and having a life that shines like a diamond in its native field. We wish we could say this of all men.
