Sue (Shefbuch) Selanders COVINGTON - Sue (Shefbuch) Selanders, 61, of Covington, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at home.
Sue was born Dec. 31. 1945, in Miami County, to the late Adolf Joseph and Edith (Reigel) Shefbuch.
She worked as the secretary at Sellman's Furniture Store for 25 years and was a member of the Pierian Club of Covington. She served as the secretary of the Fort Rowdy Board and was a member of the Covington Historical Society.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Selanders; two brothers, Jake and Kenneth Shefbuch; and sister, Kay Hines.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Roberta Shefbuch of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Niki Shefbuch of Russia; five grandchildren, Joshua, Kyle, Avery, Kegan and Korbin; one brother, Robert Shefbuch of Covington; three sisters, Virginia Helton of Piqua, Frances Rhoades of Versailles and Jane Burger of King of Prussia, Pa.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington, with Pastor Greg Kurtz officiating.
The family will receive friends at 4 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services.
If desired, contributions may be made to the family for expenses.
