TIPP CITY — Tippecanoe High School Principal Belinda Banks has submitted her resignation.
Banks filed a notice of resignation earlier this week, district staff confirmed.
The school board will vote on her resignation at their next meeting on Monday, May 23. That meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Education office.
Banks joined the district in 2012, coming from Fairborn City Schools, where she was assistant principal from August 2005 to June 2012. Prior to that, she taught science at Fairborn High School for 17 years.
It is unknown at this time when her resignation would take effect or who will replace her as principal.
