WILMINGTON — Wilmington College conferred 303 graduating seniors with bachelor of arts, bachelor of science and masters in education degrees at its 139th annual commencement ceremony. Graduates, some receiving special honor recognition, were from WC’s main campus, Cincinnati Branch in Blue Ash and the degree completion program at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

Honor’s list announced
DEFIANCE — Each semester, Defiance College recognizes students who have attained an outstanding level of academic excellence by naming them to either the Dean’s list or the school honors list.
The honors list is for students achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and enrolled in 6-11 semester hours for which letter grades are given. Students who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and are enrolled in 12 or more semester hours for which letter grades are given are named to the Dean’s list.
Benjamin M. Weber of Troy was named to the honor’s list.
Wilson graduates with degree
MILWAUKEE, Wisc. — David Wilson, son of David and Rebecca Wilson of Sidney, and a 2010 graduate of Troy High School, has graduated college.
Wilson graduated from Marquette University of Milwaukee, Wisc., with a masters of science degree in mechanical engineering.
He received a full scholarship to continue his education to earn a PhD in engineering and will begin his doctoral studies this summer.
ALLIANCE — Morgan Weber, a National Security and Foreign Intel Analysis major of New Carlisle graduated from the University of Mount Union on May 7.
Students named to dean’s list
CIRCLEVILLE — Several local students were named to the Residential Program Dean’s List at Ohio Christian University for the Spring 2016 Semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.

CIRCLEVILLE — Lori Filbrun, of Covington, a student taking dual credit courses through OCU’s Trailblazer Academy, has been named to the Dean’s List at Ohio Christian University for the Spring 2016 Semester.
Crawford earns bachelor’s
PHILADELPHIA — Caitlyn Crawford, of Covington, received a B.S. in pharmaceutical and healthcare studies magna cum laude from University of the Sciences and was recognized at a bachelor’s degree conferment ceremony on Friday, May 20, 2016.
Crawford now continues on a path toward a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a member of the Rho Chi and the Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies and the women’s volleyball team.
