Struck by a van in parking lot

TROY — The Troy Police Department continues to investigate the cause of an accident that led to a pedestrian being struck in the Tim Horton’s parking lot on Monday morning.

Troy Police Department and medics responded to the 700 block of West Main Street on a report that Rick Woods, 31, of Troy, was struck by a van in the parking lot of the restaurant. Woods was transported from the scene by CareFlight. He is currently listed in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

According to officials, the driver of the van, Stephanie Fox, 42, of Troy, was driving away from the carry-out window to exit the business from the Adams Street entrance. Woods allegedly walked out from behind some trees next to the building and was hit by the van.
