Troy Police Department reports

Information provided by the Troy Police Department:

Oct. 11

STUDENT INCIDENT: A female student was at school at Troy Jr. High and contacted her non-custodial grandmother asking to be picked up from school. The student’s non-custodial grandfather arrived at the school and requested to sign the student out at the request of her mother. The student was called out of class and met with Principal Dilbone in his office. The student reported to Principal Dilbone and her grandfather that she was drunk and needed to go home. Principal Dilbone contacted her custodial grandmother and she agreed to have the non-custodial grandfather take her home.

Principal Dilbone requested that the Troy P.D. SRO file any appropriate charges on the student. The SRO filed a charge of unruly on the student.

CAR STOLEN: An officer responded to the 500 block of S. Mulberry Street, for a vehicle missing from a residence. After

obtaining the registration, the vehicle was found to have been towed by Dayton Police after being involved in a hit-skip crash.

Oct. 12

THEFT: An officer was dispatched to 1900 W Main St for a theft complaint, information obtained and report completed.

GAS STOLEN: An officer was dispatched to Circle K on W. Main St. reference a gas drive off. The vehicle was described as a Chevy SUV with two white males. No visible plate was seen. It was determined that the vehicle was a 2000’s model Chevrolet Trailblazer. The car was gold with a spare, black wheel on the rear right side. A white male could be seen wearing a plaid shirt driving. The manager said that this vehicle had stolen gas from them four times since Sept. 25. On 9-25 for $40, on 10-9 for $47, on 10-11 for $42, and today for $29.03.

The rear plate was covered on the vehicle in the video and there is no front plate. The vehicle came in from Experiment Farm Rd. and left on Experiment Farm Rd. heading North. It was said to have turned off somewhere before exiting the city limits
