CONCORD TOWNSHIP – The first accumulating snowfall of the year led to several crashes around Miami County on Saturday night.

Two of those crashes occurred on Washington Road between Piqua and Troy.

The first was around 11 p.m. when a two-vehicle crash north of Farrington Road caused injuries to two involved parties.

A second crash, a single vehicle rollover occurred around 12:30 just north of Eldean Road.

The driver of that vehicle was transported to Upper Valley Medical Center for treatment.

None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

Drivers failing to heed road conditions due to snowfall and decreased visibility were believed to be contributing factors in the crashes.
