MIAMI COUNTY — A local woman was arraigned on a drug charge after being accused of possessing over nine pounds of marijuana.
Felicia D. Burg, 32, of Troy, was arraigned in Miami County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday on a superseding indictment for third-degree felony possession of drugs. Burg is facing nine to 36 months in prison and up to a $10,000 fine with 50 percent of the fine being mandatory if she is found guilty.

According to those same reports, the unofficial weight of the package of marijuana was 9.2 pounds.
This case was dismissed in Miami County Municipal Court before it was sent to a grand jury for indictment. The original indictment was filed in October 2016, and the superseding indictment was filed on Jan. 31.
Judge Jeannine Pratt continued Burg’s bond of own recognizance. A pre-trial conference for Burg was scheduled for Feb. 21.
According to Miami County public records, Burg appeared to have no criminal history prior to this alleged incident.
