Aug. 30

CELL PHONE: An Upper Valley Career Center student reported his cell phone was stolen.

CHECKS GONE: A Pleasant Hill woman reported she is missing at least seven checks out of her checkbook. So far two of

them have cleared the bank and were written without her knowledge or permission.

SEX OFFENDER ISSUE: A deputy responded to the 1200 block of Brukner Road, Troy, to do an address verification check on a registered sexual offender, David Smith. After further investigation, it was found that David Smith is no longer living at the address and has not updated a new address with the SORN Office.

TRESPASSING ISSUE: Residents on Staley Road reported that there were several subjects trespassing on their property. The homeowner advised that trespassers all walked East bound on Staley Road. A deputy then located the listed individual near a silver Nissan that was parked along side Staley road. At the conclusion of my on scene investigation, a juvenile was charged with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The matter of trespassing is currently pending further investigation at this time.

Aug. 31

BURRITO INCIDENT:A resident in the 1000 block of Fenner Road, Concord Twp. came outside this morning and found burrito thrown against her driver side window. She stated she is not having any issues with anyone and does not know who would have done this. There was no damage to her vehicle but she asked that the incident be documented.

Sept. 2

TRAFFIC STOP: A deputy initiated a traffic stop on the listed vehicle for an equipment violation on the 6500 block of Studebaker Rd. in Bethel Township. After further investigation the driver was cited for two headlights required, driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

OVI: A deputy was patrolling in the area of Stichter and Penny Road in Newton Twp. when he came across a vehicle that had crashed in the ditch. After investigation the driver Logan Robbins was arrested for OVI, Failure to Control, and Seatbelt.

Sept. 3

BREAKING AND ENTERING: A deputy was dispatched to the 1700 block of Knoop Road, Elizabeth Twp., in reference a residential alarm. At the conclusion of the investigation Conner Williamson was taken into custody for breaking and entering.

Sept. 5

THEFT: A resident in the 3200 block of Tipp Cowelsville Road, Monroe Twp. reported theft from her residence.

FLAGS MISSING: A resident in the 1700 block of Knoop Road, Troy, reported two American Flags were missing from the front of his driveway. The Troy Noon Optimist

organization placed the flags at the end of the driveway on Sept. 1. The resident recalled seeing the flags still in place on Sept. 2. Since Sept. 2, the flags have be stolen by an unknown subject. The resident values both flags around one hundred dollars. The homeowner was requesting the theft to be documented.

THEFT: A theft was reported in the 8600 block of S. Mann Road, Brandt.

Sept. 6

STOLEN TRUCK: A deputy responded to the 7500 block of Whispering Oaks Trail, Monroe Twp. after the homeowner called 911 to report the theft of his motor vehicle.

The vehicle has been entered into LEADS as stolen, and a BOLO was sent out. This case is pending further investigation.

JUNK VEHICLE: A deputy responded to a junk vehicle complaint in the 2400 block of Dayton Brandt Road, Elizabeth Twp. The owner was given two weeks to remove the vehicles.

TV CHIP STOLEN: A resident in the 3000 block of East Snodgrass Road, Brown Township reported his ROKU stick was stolen by a relative.

OVI: A deputy cited a subject for speed and OVI on State Route 201 and Studebaker Road, Bethel Twp.
