TROY — Rob Turner has performed with his Baroque flute at historic sites across the United States and Europe, including Monticello, sixteenth-century villas, San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice and Vivaldi’s church, the Pieta. Mr. Turner was principal flute for “Musica nel Chiostro” in Tuscany and has performed with La Stravaganza, the Boston Camerata Violins of Lafayette, Washington Bach Consort, Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, Fort Wayne — Bach Collegium, and Cincinnati Opera/CSO, to name just a few.

He will be performing at the Hayner with the simple wooden flute that was the precursor to the silver flutes we know today.
