TROY — The Troy Night Market, an indoor farmers market in support of local food, will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Troy Rec, corner of North Market Street and East Water Street in downtown Troy.
The Troy Night Market is a collaboration of local vendors who produce locally grown, homemade cottage foods, local non-cottage foods and some artisan kitchen/ household items.
The vendors make them available on the first and the third Tuesday evenings of the month October 2015 through May 2016.
Troy Night Market vendors will offer a variety of local foods, including fruits and vegetables in season, meats such as beef, pork, chicken and turkey, cheese, homemade jams, jellies, fruit butters, baked goods to include gluten free, gourmet roasted coffee, herbal seasonings, mixes, teas, candy, honey, maple syrup, sorghum, noodles, juices, popcorn, granola and sauerkraut.
Market vendors will also offer the following kitchen/household items artisan soaps, lotions, handmade aprons, hand carved wooden spoons and cutting boards, ceramics, crocheted kitchen items and potted plants.
