Two arrested on drug trafficking charges

TROY — On Wednesday, Troy Police Department conducted a search warrant at 1308 Imperial Court Apartment G and arrested two individuals on drug trafficking charges.

According to Troy Police Department’s Capt. Jeff Kunkleman, the department arrested Spencer Goodrich, 23, of Troy and on drug trafficking charges. The other individual arrested in the case had not been booked in Miami County Jail as of press time.

Goodrich has been charged with drug trafficking and drug possession.Both charges are first-degree felonies.

Capt. Kunkleman said more than an ounce of cocaine was found inside the apartment along with other property related to drug trafficking. Details from the search warrant were not available as of press time.

In other news:

Kristy Ullery, 27, of Englewood, was sentenced to serve 23 months in prison for a total of five counts of receiving stolen property and violating her community control in Miami County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.

Ullery pleaded guilty to a bill of information on the five new charges. She also was arraigned and charged with violating terms of her community control from a 2015 charge of two counts of forgery. In the 2015 case, 11 months of prison was reserved if she violated her community control. She received a total of 43 days of jail time credit in all cases. Upon her release from prison, she may serve up to three years of post-release control.
