WACO seeking volunteers
TROY — Many volunteers say volunteering enriches their sense of purpose, improves their mood, lowers their stress level and helps them manage a chronic illness. WACO Air Museum is hosting an informational meeting for potential volunteers from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
WACO has opportunities of all types of skills, from maintenance, teachers, tour guides, greeters, gift shop attendants and more. Find out about all the volunteer possibilities at WACO and take a step to improving your health by calling (937) 335-9226 to RSVP.

Join the troops at the Mayflower Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. for a journey through history.
Purke will discuss the early days of the patriots, and Rick Egbert will guide viewers through The War Between the States. Life-size boxes of specifically selected memorabilia will be accompanied by narrators Lou Hart for WWI, Mick DeHart for WWII and Korea, and Carl DeSantis for Vietnam.
