Rose receives award

TROY — Local Allstate agency owner Patty Rose received the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Award for her commitment to helping others and community service. Because of her outstanding volunteerism, The Allstate Foundation awarded Rose a $1,000 grant to both Troy Main Street and the Miami Valley Veterans Museum.

Allstate agents and employees have a proud history of putting their good hands to work in supporting Ohio communities, promoting volunteerism and providing financial resources to enable local organizations to help others.

“The Allstate Agency Hands in the Community award celebrates the spirit of service and commitment to communities where we live, work and do business,” said Ted Stefanov, Ohio sales leader for Allstate. “With support from The Allstate Foundation, we are making our hometown a stronger, safer place.”

Allstate agents who are honored with an Agency Hands in the Community award can serve nonprofit groups in many capacities – as volunteers, mentors, program partners and leaders. Organizations must qualify for tax-deductible contributions under Section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
