Caldwell House receives landscaping donation
TROY — Caldwell House in Troy has recently finished a project that will improve the look of the facility. Beginning in November, Cooper Landscaping donated its services and took on the project of completely overhauling the landscaping and lighting of the building.
Boulders, shrubs, flowers, trees, and more than 35 lights were added to the exterior of the assisted living community. Paver blocks were added throughout the front of the building to give it a modern touch.
Caldwell House has been an assisted living community in the Troy area since 1997.
Health Partners sets holiday hours
TROY — In preparation for the holiday season, the hours of operation at Health Partners Free Clinic have been announced.
Executive director Justin Coby reports the clinic will be open on Christmas Eve from 8:30 a.m. to noon and closed on Christmas Day. It will reopen for their normal hours on Dec. 28.
On New Year’s Eve, the clinic will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A walk-in clinic will be conducted from 1-3 p.m. Coby reminds visitors the clinic will be regularly closed that day from noon to 1 p.m. The facility will be closed on New Year’s Day and reopen Jan. 4.
Coby also urges patients to closely monitor their prescription medication refills during this time. Area pharmacies will most likely alter their holiday schedules, he said, and being proactively aware of the amount they have on hand could alleviate someone running out at a critical time.
The clinic continues to use the CareMessage telephone patient notification system. The automated communication serves as a reminder for upcoming appointments, prescription refills and test results.
For additional information, contact the clinic at (937) 332-0894.
