Acticities will include a Princess Day Camp where you can expect your daughter to be pampered with hairdos and makeup in “Belle’s Beauty Parlor,” have nails done in “Sleeping Beauty’s Nail Shop,” create a crown and wand in “Ariel’s Treasure Trove,” learn princess manners in “A Bite with Snow White,” learn how to model, and finally, show off their skills at ”Cinderella’s Ball.”

Princesses must be accompanied by a parent during the entire experience. The cost of the day is $12, which includes a snack for both princess and parent.

Please RSVP by Feb. 15 by calling Newton School at (937) 676-2002 or emailing

Charger 300 event set

PIQUA — The Edison State Community College Foundation and Athletics Department are partnering to host the seventh annual Charger 300 Club event on Thursday, March 17, at 6 p.m. in the Robinson Theater at the Piqua Campus. The event is held to help raise funds for the College’s athletic programs.

A reverse raffle will highlight the evening’s events, with one lucky winner walking away with a $10,000 prize. Other cash drawings will be held throughout the night and ticket holders are not required to be present to win.

Tickets are $100 per couple and include all-you-can-eat buffet, beverages, entertainment, and a chance to win. A silent auction will also be held featuring items such as NFL tickets, Dayton Dragon tickets, gift cards, and more.

Funds raised by the event assist Edison State in providing the best experience possible for student-athletes and have previously assisted the teams in post-season travel, uniform expenses, and equipment and facility upgrades.
