KHN honored for worksite practices

KETTERING — Kettering Health Network received the Healthy Business Council of Ohio’s 2017 Healthy Worksite Silver Award.

The award recognizes Ohio employers who demonstrate a commitment to employee wellness through comprehensive worksite health promotion and wellness programs. Applicants are scored on the extent their wellness programs facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity and ensure a healthy work environment.

The network was one of 73 Ohio employers to be recognized for healthy worksite practices.

Kettering Health Network is a not-for-profit network of eight hospitals, 10 emergency departments, and 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. The network’s hospitals are Kettering, Grandview, Sycamore, Southview, Greene Memorial, Soin, Fort Hamilton, and Kettering Behavioral Medicine. Kettering College, a division of Kettering Medical Center, is a fully accredited college that specializes in health science education. T-Mobile opens store in Troy

TROY — T-Mobile has opened a new store in Troy at 1849 W Main St., Suite B108.

The storie is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

T-Mobile is creating new jobs as stores open in Ohio and across the U.S. at the fastest pace in the company’s history. This record retail growth is driven by T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network expansion, which is expected to cover 321 million people by the end of 2017.
