Troy Police Department reports


Information provided by the Troy Police Department:

Dec. 18

THEFT: An officer was dispatched to Meijer in reference to a theft. Two females were charged with theft.

Dec. 19

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: An officer was stopped by a resident in the 800 block of Jefferson Street to report criminal damaging.

Dec. 20

OVI: An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at W. Market Street near Peters Ave. The driver was found to be impaired and arrested for OVI.

WARRANT: An officer arrested a subject on a warrant. The subject was incarcerated for possession of meth, drug abuse

instruments and the warrant.

THEFT: An officer was dispatched to 600 block of Dakota Street in reference to a theft. The reporting party reported four batteries stolen from one of the commercial trucks. A report was completed.

Dec. 21

JUVENILE ISSUE: At 1:09 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a moving violation in the alley off of E. West Street between Walnut Street and Mulberry Street. The driver was found to be an unlicensed 13-Year-Old. The juvenile was transported home and issued a citation and charged with curfew.

MENACING: A deputy responded to 516 1/2 W. Franklin Street for a report of menacing that occurred near St. Joseph’s Soup Kitchen. A male was arrested and Jailed for Menacing.

FOUND PROPERTY: An unknown caller advised dispatch of a bike in the bushes at Wayne Street and South Ridge. The officer located the bike which was found to be a Kawasaki mx2400. The bike was tagged and put in the sally port. The bike also had a black combination lock around the frame.

THEFT: An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Littlejohn Road for a theft complaint.

OVI: An officer was dispatched 1300 Archer Drive (Wendy’s) and came in contact with a subject reference an OVI call. As a result, a subject was charged with OVI.

Dec. 22

JUVENILE ISSUE: At approximately 3:45 a.m. an officer came into contact with several underage persons in the parking lot of the Waffle House. Individuals were charged with Contributing to Unruliness, Underage Consumption, Open Container, and Curfew.
