MIAMI COUNTY — Unofficial results from the Miami County Board of Elections declare Dr. Stephen Huffman the winner of the Republican primary for the 80th District State Representative with 5,528 votes with all 84 precincts reporting. As of press time, Huffman received 215 votes according to the Darke County Board of Elections with 34 out of 43 precincts reporting.

Mark Williams received 4,129 votes in Miami County and 144 in Darke County.

The Ohio House of Representatives 80th District seat is currently held by Dr. Richard Adams of Troy. Adams did not seek another term.

Democrat Jonathan Michalski is running unopposed in the primary and will face Huffman in the general election in November.

Joe LeMaster, a pastor of a congregation located in Darke County received 1,763 votes in Miami County and 364 in Darke County.
