To the Editor:
New Troy bridge has hairline cracks appearing top of east and west side walls entire length of bridge. New finish on bridge is cracking in places and finish is coming off.
General Information: one may know or not, the west side wall of the bridge is 1 foot higher than the east side wall? Same type cracks in some of the walkways on the bridge. At this time the cracks are not significant, but they won’t get better or cure themselves.
Before spending money on Treasure Island, Hobart Arena, Adams Street, we should rethink Troy’s true needs. Curbs and gutters everywhere, especially in front of the courthouse, repaving of streets, more help at the cemetery and the list goes on.
My point is you don’t add frills to the house when it’s falling down.
