Boston Stoker, 1293 S. Dorset Rd., Troy — Observed improper use and/or maintenance of wiping cloths. Observed wiping cloth on counter under espresso machine. Keep all wiping clothes in sanitizer bucket. Observed no supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder or bar soap at the hand-washing sink(s) by the toaster and blenders.
Bowman & Landes Turkey Farm, 6490 E. Ross Rd., New Carlisle — Observed employee drinks in a non-designated area. A label on a food packaged did not contain all required information. The surfaces of cutting blocks or boards were severely scratched or scored and could not be effectively cleaned and sanitized.
Burger King, 952 W. Main St., Tipp City — Critical violation: ice machine surfaces are unclean. To prevent contamination, equipment food-contact surfaces shall be clean to sight and touch. Observed residual build-up on fryer, hot holding units, oven, on top of equipment, inside freezer, wrapper sheet holders, handles. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Cleaned equipment and utensils are not properly stored. Observed utensils in unclean containers that are on the metal shelves. Observed a build-up of debris. Focus on hard to clean areas that are under equipment, along walls, drains, grout lines, and corners.

Donatos Pizza, 414 W. Main St., Troy — Observed improper use and/or maintenance of wiping cloths. Critical violation: observed large pizza prep cooler holding food around 45F. TCS foods were not being held at the proper temperature. Manager has called maintenance for repair and is monitoring temperatures. No three compartment sink drain stoppers observed. Observed plastic lids being used as drain stoppers. Equipment and/or components are not maintained in good working order. Observed handle on walk-in cooler door with residual build-up. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment have residual. Observed an automatic hand-washing sink that was not properly installed. Observed no supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder or bar soap at the hand-washing sink. Observed a build-up of dirt and debris in walk-in freezer floor and walk-in cooler threshold.
Little Caesar’s, 1408 W. Main St., Troy — Observed surface on prep sink, handles on sink, and handles on paper towel dispenser with residual build-up. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Observed grease trap that looks like it has not been cleaned, and also a grease trap smell in grease trap sink room. The plumbing system was not properly repaired. Baseboard near grease trap is in bad condition, remove and reinstall new baseboard properly. Observed caulking above 3 compartment with moldy residual. Replace caulking properly. The physical facilities are not being maintained in good repair. Critical violation: observed the presence of many live gnats.
Fairfield Inn, 83 Troy Town Dr., Troy — Cold holding equipment did not contain a thermometer. Beverage air refrigeration unit in customer self-service area was missing a thermometer. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are dirty. Bottom shelf of Victory refrigeration unit in the pantry had accumulated food debris. Recaulk the prep sink to the wall. The caulk is pulling away, allowing for debris to get between wall and sink.
