TROY — The Strawberry Festival Tennis Shootout was played on June 7 at Troy Community Park and Troy High School, with champions being crowned in nine different age divisions between boys and girls, singles and doubles.


In the boys 18-and-under doubles division, Greg Coffey and Kevin Thiel defeated Jack Johnston and Nick Prus 8-6, but Matt Alexander and Ian Stutz defeated Johnston and Prus in the title match 8-3.


In the boys 16-and-under singles division, Andrew Correll defeated Jacob Haas 8-1, while Allen Eben defeated Stephen Hendershot 8-1 to advance to the finals. And in the title match, Correll defeated Eben 8-3.


In the boys 14-and-under singles division, Andrew Magoteaux defeated Nick Brumbaugh 8-7 and Luke Curtin defeated Cono O’Leary 8-2 to set up the finals matchup, in which Magoteaux defeated Curtin 8-2.


In the boys 12-and-under singles division, Pren Dev defeated Josh Jones 8-1 and Matthew Correll defeated Spencer Surles 8-2, and in the final Dev defeated Correll 8-6.


In the girls 14-and-under doubles division, Alekhya Gollamadi and Jailey Taylor defeated Laura Billing and Amelia Zweizig 8-7 in the final.


In the girls 16-and-under singles division, Kennedy Reeder defeated Emily Molen 8-7 and Cami Jones defeated Ladia Coning 8-5. And in the title match, Jones defeated Reeder 8-4.


In the girls 14-and-under singles division, Claire Larger defeated Monique Joes 8-0 and Ashley Wombold defeated Emma Kazmaier 8-5, then Wombold defeated Larger 8-1 in the final.


In the girls 12-and-under singles division, Laura Billing defeated Amelia Zweizig 8-6, and in the final Katie Reeder defeated Billing 8-3.


In the girls 10-and-under singles division, Dakota Schroeder defeated Shannon Brumbaugh 8-3.
