To the Editor,
I am writing to express sincere gratitude to the generous community of businesses we are fortunate to have here in Troy. The Troy High School After Prom was held at Troy Bowl on Saturday night, and thanks to the spirit of giving so readily found in our city, each junior and senior was able to go home with a door prize or a cash prize, and three lucky seniors received scholarships.
The list is lengthy, but I want to recognize each business who made the event possible. First, Troy Bowl, you made us feel welcome and helped make it financially possible! Beckstrom Orthodontics — $500 scholarship, Arbogast — $350 scholarship, Creative Labels — $250 scholarship. Corporate sponsorships to offset ticket/food costs: Nottingham Development, Harlow Builders and Keystone Homes of Troy.
Many thanks to the following businesses for the donations of gift cards and door prizes: Hot Head, Skyline, Al’s Pizza, Grismer, K’s, Outback, Submarine House, Anytime Fitness, BW3s, Culver’s, LA Tan, Sundown Tan, Fricker’s, Josten’s, Drs. Sims and Culp, Jay and Mary’s, Burger King, Tim Horton’s, Speedshot, Coldstone Creamery, Panera, Splish Splash, Skyzone, Domino’s, Logan’s, Giacomo’s, Erwin Chryler, and The Troy Foundation.
And to the many parents of juniors and seniors, your donations of gift cards, paper goods, water bottles and desserts made the night a huge success. Our community is one of support and goodwill. The high school recipients learned that lesson well on Saturday night.
