TROY — Troy Christian boys soccer coach Ryan Zeman won the Coach of the Year award in the Metro Buckeye Conference this fall, the top honor for the Eagles in a collection of postseason awards.

* Boys Soccer

After struggling through a 7-9 season in 2014, the Troy Christian boys soccer team bounced back this season, going 11-7-1 and reaching the sectional title game. And as a result, coach Ryan Zeman was named the MBC Coach of the Year.

Tom Null, Jon Slone and Seth Wynne all earned spots on the All-MBC first team, and Colt Tanner earned second team honors. Wes Alexander won the sportsmanship award.

* Girls Soccer

After an injury-filled season, the Troy Christian girls soccer team had three representatives on the All-MBC team.

Meredith Haddad, Alyssa Donald and freshman goalkeeper Cara Salazar all earned spots on the first team, while Kayla Landis, Lauren Moritz and Riley Spoltman were named to the second team. Gabbi Flannery won the coaches award and Rachel Plummer won the sportsmanship award.

* Volleyball

Jenna Bullock was the lone representative for the Troy Christian volleyball team on the All-MBC first team. Jenna Grady and Kathryn Lee both earned spots on the second team, and Kristen Winger won the sportsmanship award.

* Cross Country

Isaac Flora was the lone Eagle boys cross country runner to earn first team All-MBC honors this past fall. Zach Davidson and Nick Pratt both were named to the second team, and Noah Davidson won the sportsmanship award.

On the girls side, Sophie Pitsenbarger won the sportsmanship award.
