TROY — For high school juniors and seniors around Troy, here is a guide to the perfect prom. From reservations — to prom fashions — Troy is the perfect place to prepare for prom.

Whether you are looking for dazzling prom gowns or a sleek tuxedo, Angels Mark Formal Wear on West Main Street has what you need. Angels Mark Former Wear also sells corsages customized for you and hairpieces including decorative hairpins, designed headbands and jeweled bun wraps.

Angels Mark Former Wear sells stunning homecoming dresses and prom gowns. Troy High School girls can find their prom dress, as well as order a prom dress of their choice upon request. After you choose your prom gown, it may not seem to fit just right, but luckily alterations also can be made right in the store as well.

Angels Mark Formal Wear also has tuxedos in every style, size and color. There is also a tuxedo rental program with ranging affordable prices. The rental tuxedos include a jacket, a vest, a shirt, a tie or bow tie and pants. Dress shoes may also be purchased at the store.

Girls, need your hair styled for prom? The search is over. Sweeney Todd Salon and Giacomo’s A Salon and Spa Inc. are just two of many hair salons in Troy that will style hair for prom. Many high school students in the past have had their hair styled at places around Troy — leaving them with prom ready hair.

Looking to get your nails done for prom? Easy! Troy has numerous nail salons, some of which include KB Nails, A1 Nails and Nail Expo. The nail salons around Troy can paint your finger and toe nails to any color or style you desire.

Speaking of corsages, florists inn Troy are at your service, just give a call or stop in at any of the flower shops in town for your perfect flowers, including Trojan Florist and Your Personal Florist.

Don’t know how to get your nails styled? Some popular nail trends for prom are the French tip, but you do not just have to get a white French tip — you can also get a colored or designed French tip. Neutral colors and metallic designs are popular this prom season.

There are plenty of nice restaurants around Troy to make reservations at, including La Piazza, The Caroline and La Fiesta or El Sombrero Mexican restaurants — just to name a few. Troy is home to any kind of food someone could be hungry for from Mexican, Italian, or even Japanese.

No plans for after Prom? No problem. Troy High School will be hosting After Prom from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. at Troy Bowl. For only $10, students can enjoy cosmic bowling (shoes included), pizza, fries, drink and dessert. There are only 108 spots available, but door prizes and cash prizes will be given to the students who earn top scores. There will even be scholarships given to two lucky juniors and seniors.

Since prom is coming up soon, on April 9 in Troy, start booking dinner reservations, or even nail and hair appointments.
