TROY — Join the Avalons on Friday, Nov. 17 at the Troy Country Club for food, music, and a silent auction to benefit Partners in Hope, Inc.

The Avalons are America’s premier Rock ‘n Roll oldies sensation bringing to the stage the sights and sounds of the ’50s, ’60s and early ‘70s with costumes, choreography, zany bits, audience participation, and great four part harmonies. They have shared the stage with The Beach Boys, The Smothers Brothers, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Franki Valli and The Four Seasons and scores of other legendary entertainers. They have performed for millions of people. One entertainment writer described them as “The Beach Boys meet The Three Stooges.”

This annual event for Partners in Hope also will include items up for bid, and include an autographed Peyton Manning helmet, Vera Bradley purses, an autographed Matt Light football with jersey, and pieces from local artists, including Sally Watson of Hotel Gallery.

Tickets are $35 per person and include appetizers, desserts and coffee. A cash bar will be available. The event is adults only. Tickets can be purchased by calling Jessica Echols at (937) 335-0448, or on the website at www.partnersinhopeinc.org.

Partners in Hope has been part of the community for 27 years, and provides relief, education, and development programs for people seeking to move beyond crisis based living to a secure and stable lifestyle. The organization is completely locally funded, and in 2016 provided direct services and programming to over 2000 individuals.
