TIPP CITY — Two crashes on Interstate 75 early Saturday morning resulted in no injuries.
According to Trooper Austin Hess of the Dayton post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the first accident happened at 7:19 a.m. Saturday morning when it is believed the driver of the vehicle made an improper lane change while driving southbound on I-75 and struck another vehicle that may have been in the driver’s blind spot. This accident remains under investigation, Hess said.
The second accident happened, it is believed, as the result of driver inattention from the back-up from the first accident, Hess said.
In total, four vehicles were included in the two crashes, and no one was injured.
Hess said one lane of the highway was closed during clean-up efforts.
