Strebigs celebrating 60 years

William V. and Sally (Baldus) Strebig are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

The met at Cook County Hospital in Chicago where Bill was a student and Sally was on staff.

They were married June 16, 1956, in Nunica, Mich.

The Strebigs moved to Montana after Bill completed his anesthesia training at the Mayo Clinic. After 23 years of giving anesthesia in Montana and Colorado, the Strebigs moved to Troy in 1984 where he joined Fisher Anesthesia Associates until his retirement in 1996.

Sally is a retired Registered Nurse. She was employed by the Miami County Surgeons until her retirement in 1998.

They enjoy traveling and have been involved in serving with foreign medical missions through the years. Both are active members of First Baptist Church of Troy.

The Strebigs are the parents of four children, Jeff and Debbie Strebig of Fort Collins, Colo., Rebecca and Randy Bottoms of Clemmons, N.C., Tim and Paula Strebig of Bellefontaine, and Dan and Jenny Strebig of Santa Cruz, Bolivia; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

They will celebrate with many of their family by taking a Caribbean cruise.
