Nov. 22

SCHOOL INCIDENT: A deputy responded to the Upper Valley Career Center reference drug paraphernalia found on a student. After speaking with the student she was charged with drug possession and drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 23

BEER AT BURGER KING: A deputy was informed by a witness that the defendant had an open container in his vehicle and he was possibly intoxicated. The defendant and passenger were waiting on their food in Troy Burger King’s parking lot. The deputy spoke with the defendant, who was not impaired. He was issued a citation for DUS and having an open container in a motor vehicle. The passenger was a valid/sober driver and took possession of the vehicle.

OVI: A deputy was parked on Interstate 75 near the 78-mile marker with overhead lights flashing, indicating a closed roadway for construction. A deputy was parked inside a closed lane with orange cones and barrels separating the closed lane with the open lane of travel. A car drove into the deputy’s lane striking the cones next to the cruiser. The deputy stopped the vehicle and after completing field sobriety tests with the driver, Larry Zeller, he was placed under arrest for suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence.

TRESPASSING: A deputy responded to the Sunoco gas station in Pleasant Hill in reference a trespassing complaint.

At the end of the investigation, Nicholas Deeter was warned for criminal trespassing.
