MIAMI COUNTY — Dylan Hollowell’s smile lit up the show arena when the judge selected him as the Grand Champion of the Miami County Born and Raised gilt show Friday night.
The 6 year old from Covington also showed the fifth place overall gilt in the same show that evening.
The first grader said he just loves to have fun showing his pigs and was happy “Ariel” placed first in the local breeding show.
When asked how he felt when the judge shook his hand, Hollowell simply said,”I was happy.”
The gilt was raised by Clark Show Stock.
Hollowell is the son of Stacy and Randy Hollowell of Covington.
Reserve champion went to Rhylee Eichhorn of Casstown. Her gilt was raised by Eichhorn Show Pigs.
