Troy Police Department reports

Information provided by the Troy Police Department:

March 13

VEHICLE BREAK-IN: A resident in the 2200 block of Morning Glory Circle reported her Jeep was broken into over night.

HOTEL ISSUE: A report was made regarding criminal damaging at the Budget Inn.

THEFT: A report of theft was made in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

March 14

GUN GONE: A resident in the 1200 block of Fairway Drive reported his pistol was stolen in his unlocked vehicle.

March 15

THEFT: Two female juveniles were charged with theft at Meijer.

DRUG OFFENSE: An officer was dispatched on a report of a drug offense. Someone donated a pair of shoes and a small bag of marijuana was found inside. The marijuana was marked to be destroyed.

ASSAULT: A male subject was charged with assault and criminal damaging in the area of Park Avenue and Old Newton Parkway.

March 16

POSSESSION: A female subject was charged with open container, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

March 17

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: An officer took a report of a criminal damaging report in the 200 block of South Oxford Street.

THEFT: A report of theft was made in the area of Cameo Circle.

DRUG OFFENSE: An officer responded to the Little York Tavern on a report of a drug offense. Emmet Francis was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of controlled substances.

March 18

DISORDERLY: William Grove was charged with disorderly intoxication and was released to his roommate at his residence.

UNDERAGE: Officers responded to the 1400 block of Henley Road for a disturbance. Numerous charges were filed for underage consumption.

OVI: A driver was charged with OVI after a traffic stop on South Dorset Road.

THEFT: A theft complaint was filed at Kohl’s. A female was charged with theft and released.

DISORDERLY: A male subject was fighting with bar staff. Rafael Aguirre was charged and released.

March 20

WARRANT: A warrant was served in the 500 block of Fernwood.

TRAFFICKING: An officer responded to the 1400 block of West Market Street on a report of subjects possibly shooting heroin in the parking lot. Subjects were found to have warrants and crystal meth in their possession. One male subject was charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

OVERDOSE: An officer responded to a squad call for a possible heroin overdose. No address was provided.

THEFT: Candace Hicks was charged with theft of $101.07 worth of merchandise at Meijer.

March 21

SUSPICIOUS: Troy units were dispatched to Motel 6 on a possible assault in progress. Officers were unable to locate a victim or suspect after searching the area.

DRUG INSTRUMENT FOUND: An employee at Fisher-Cheney called officers stating he found a syringe with a needle attached in the flower bed at the funeral home. It was collected and destroyed.

ASSAULT: A woman reported two juveniles in a car cursed at her and hit her with a bottle of Gatorade while she was riding her bike at the intersection of Staunton Road and North Market Street.
