TROY — The FBI has identified the four suspects in the Verizon store armed robbery last Thursday.
According to reports, Darrin Bell, 27, Christopher Davis, 23, David McGhee, 25, and Kashawn MOrrow, 26, were taken into custody following a traffic stop on Interstate 70 near Indianapolis Thursday.
The suspects were under FBI surveillance during the armed robbery due to the suspects committing similar crimes in Indiana.
The Troy Police Department responded to a burglary of the Verizon store in the 1800 block of West Main Street around 7:50 p.m. Thursday.
According to Capt. Joe Long, the suspects entered the store and held the clerk at gun point with a rifle or assault rifle.
The robbers stole 40-60 cell phones and fled in a pair of vehicles.
Troy Police patrolmen followed the car until FBI Task Force agents picked up the pursuit, which ended outside of Indianapolis on Interstate 70. The three alleged robbers and the driver were then taken into custody.
