Information provided by Troy Police Department:
OVERDOSE: An officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Peters Road in reference to a possible overdose.
Dispatch advised there was a female at the residence that was not breathing and that CPR was in progress.
The officer was advised that the female was a former heroin user and her name is Ashlee Lawrence. The reporting party said someone dropped Ashlee off and she went into the bathroom.
Troy Fire administered Narcan to Ashlee. She regained consciousness and was asked what happened. Ashlee said she couldn’t remember what happened. The officer checked the bathroom where Ashlee had been and found a needle next to the toilet. Troy Fire explained to her how the Narcan works. Ashlee denied using heroin. She was then transported to UVMC for treatment. Ashlee was charged with disorderly conduct. The charge was forwarded to Municipal Court.
WARRANT: Brad Gerke was located in the woods in the 700 block of Newton Parkway. Gerke was intoxicated and told officers he was sleeping in the woods because he had no place to live. He had an active warrant for his arrest and was incarcerated without incident.
ACCIDENT: A cyclist reported being struck by a vehicle in the area of Water Street and Market Street. The vehicle was a tan SUV, but was not located.
THEFT: A theft at Marsh was reported.
DRUG ISSUE: A female was arrested on multiple drug offenense at the Royal Inn.
OVI: A resident report a car crashed in the intersection of Troy-Urbana and Todd Lane. The driver was located and charged with OVI.
THEFT: A Wal-Mart employee reported baby formula and other items were stolen from the store overnight.
THEFT: A resident in the 1340 Wayne Street apartments reported his patio umbrella was stolen. Another resident in the same area reported her patio umbrellas were slashed with a knife.
THEFT: A theft was reported in the 500 block of South Walnut.
WARRANT: Tanya Canada was cited for failure to reinstate, wrong way on a one way street and fictitious tags. She had a warrant out of Clark County for failure to appear.
OVERDOSE: An overdose was reported to the 500 block of Crescent Drive.
THEFT: A vehicle was reported stolen from Kroger.
DISTURBANCE: An officer responded to the Tavern on a report of a disturbance. Jordan Mumaw was charged with disorderly conduct.
THEFT: Two subjects refused to pay their bill at Waffle House. They were found at the Royal Inn. One took off running and was later apprehended. Both were charged with theft.
TRESPASS: A resident in the 100 block of Water Street reported finding an unknown male subject asleep on the couch. The subject woke up and left and was not located.
THEFT: A theft was reported at Kohl’s. Ian Swartz was charged with theft.
FRAUD: A resident in the 1800 block of Hunters Ridge reported fraud. She told officers she received a check from a male subject whom she had been communicating on Facebook. She cashed the check and then transferred the money via Western Union to the person online. Her bank contacted her to inform her the check was fake. She was warned to never transfer money to a person she did not know.
DUS: Bryan Huffman was stopped for driving under six driving under suspension violations. He was charged with driving under suspension and texting while driving.
DRUGS FOUND: An officer stopped a vehicle for marked lanes and turn signal violations. The driver was found to have no license and the owner was the passenger. A syringe and two pills were located during the stop. Both were arrested. The drive was charged with possessing dangerous drugs, drug abuse instruments, no operator’s license, turn signal and market lanes. The passenger was charged with possessing dangerous drug and wrongful entrustment.
NEEDLE: A needle was found in the parking lot of the Royal Inn. It was destroyed.
THEFT: A stroller was stolen off the porch of a home in the 800 block of South Clay Street.
THEFT: A report of jewelry and medication was allegedly stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Sanders Court as the homeowner was mowing grass.
TRANSPORT: An officer transported Terrence Rusk from the Montgomery County Jail to the Miami County Jail.
Officers also transported Brandion Clemons on a warrant.
OVI: An officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle that nearly ran a red light and proceeded in to the intersection before coming to a screeching stop. The driver was arrested for OVI.
