Tour of Homes scheduled

TROY — The 27th annual Tour of Troy Homes, sponsored by the Museum of Troy History, will be from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 8.

The tour includes four homes in the Southwest Historic District. Tickets can be obtained from any board member, by calling 339-5155 or at the Museum of Troy History from 1-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays at 124 E. Water St. Tickets are $10.

Board members include Doug Christian, Chad Monnin, Sandy Gurklies, Marty Baker, Marty Hobart, Mary Clevenger, and Doug Tremblay.

Dine to donate

TROY — Help support wildlife at Brukner Nature Center by joining staff and volunteers at Buffalo Wild Wings, 2313 W. Main St., Troy, from 5-9 p.m. Sept. 26.

Buffalo Wild Wings will donate a percentage of your food bill to help support the wildlife at Brukner Nature Center. A flier must be presented at check-out and fliers are available on BNC’s website, at the Interpretive Building, or email Good on dine in or carry-out.

Museum to be closed

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe Historical Society Museum will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 23, as members we will be manning a booth at the Mum Festival.

Stop by and browse through yearbooks, fire and police albums, and enjoy other historical items. A number of Tipp City related items will be for sale, including the new ornament, the Roundhouse at the park, will be available.

Sale upcoming

TROY — In time for fall decorating and holiday gift-giving, the Country Workshop Artists (CWA) of Troy will hold their 29th biennial Fine Arts & Fine Crafts Sale on Friday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The sale will be held at the Staunton Grange at 1530 N. Market St., Troy. Juried arts and crafts will be on display from over 50 local and regional artists in an indoor location. Food truck meals will be available for purchase each day of the event.

Santorum to speak

PIQUA — Elizabeth’s New Life Center still has seats available for their luncheon program for their North Partnership Banquet on Thursday, Oct. 19 at A Learning Place in Piqua with guest speaker Senator Rick Santorum.

Doors for the luncheon open at 11 a.m. with program starting at 11:30 a.m. and lasting until around 1 p.m. There is no cost to attend the event, but there will be an ask for a financial gift at the end of the program.
