Evening of painting to raise funds

PIQUA — An evening of painting, music, wine and food will help raise money for the American Cancer Society on at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at the banquet room at the Miami Valley Centre Mall.

The cost is $35 per person and $10 from each registration will be donated to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Miami County.

If you are interested in attending, go to CarlottaART’s website to register for the party:

The party will last about two hours and includes instruction and all supplies needed to paint your own 16-by-20 work of art. No artistic experience is needed. If you’ve never painted and think you can’t draw a straight line, no worries, it’s about having a good time. Instructors will guide participants step-by-step in a fun, relaxed atmosphere and at the end of the party you’ll have created your own work of art.

There will be food and wine for everyone. If you would like, feel free to bring something to eat to share. If you want to bring your own wine to drink, feel free to bring that as well.

We provide aprons and suggest you wear paint friendly clothes.
