Information provided by the Troy Police Department:

Sept. 7

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A report of a vehicle damaged was reported in the 1300 block of McKaigRoad.

Sept. 8

12-POINT SUSPENSION: Michael Melton, 50 of Troy, was cited for driving under a 12-point suspension.

OVI: Zachary Matasci, 28, of Troy, was cited for OVI and released to a sober party.

Sept. 9

BURGLARY: A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of East Main Street.

OVI: An officer stopped a vehicle on South Market Street in front of Wally’s Carpet. The driver, Courtney Myers, 30, of Troy, was found to be impaired. She was arrested and charged with OVI, prohibited concentration over .17 percent BAC, and expired registration.

OVERDOSE: Eric Mendenhall, 49, of Greenville, was charged with inducing panic after he was revived with Narcan in a vehicle in the Goodwill parking lot.

STEAK AND SHAKE INCIDENT: Two juveniles were charged with curfew following a disturbance at Steak and Shake. Seth Wallace, 19, and Jace Chamberlain, 18, both of Sidney were also charged with underage consumption.

Sept. 10

THEFT: A theft was reported by a resident in the Hobart Circle area.

ASSAULT: Terry Allen, 30, of Troy, was charged with assault and possession of meth after he brandished a knife inside an apartment against another occupant. Officers detained Allen who was not cooperative at the scene. He was incarcerated.

Sept. 11

WELFARE CHECK: An SRO conducted a welfare check after a report of possible abuse was reported by an anonymous person.

JUVENILE ISSUE: SRO Waite responded to a report of two juvenile females fighting under the Market Street Bridge.

Sept. 12

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A resident of Rossville reported damage to her vehicle.

OVI: Kenneth Atkinson, 48, of Troy, was cited for OVI, OVI refusal, driving under suspension, no license and a U-turn violation.

Sept. 13

FAILURE TO STOP FOR SCHOOL BUS: A report of a vehicle passing a stopped school bus on North Dorset was reported. The driver was cited.

THEFT: A theft from Circle K was reported.

OVI: An officer stopped a vehicle at Market Street and the rail road crossing. Kristopher Anderson, 39, of Troy, was cited for OVI, OVI over .170 and marked lanes.

Sept. 14

OVI: On the listed date time and location the suspect vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested for OVI. The driver was cited for OVI, OVI over .170 and Marked Lanes and was turned over to his wife.

SHOPLIFTING: A theft was reported at Kohl’s.

PARK DAMAGE: An officer was dispatched to Archer Park in reference to a vehicle doing doughnuts in the grass. The vehicle was located and the 16 year-old male driver from Troy was charged with reckless operation and criminal damaging. The passenger, a 17-year-old male from Piqua, in the vehicle was also charged with criminal damaging. Damage estimated at $2,500.

Sept. 15

POSSESSION: An officer arrested Elizabeth Kindell from a traffic stop. Kindell had multiple warrants and a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments.

THEFT: A theft complaint was filed in the 1300 block of Imperial Court.

OVI: A 1:30 a.m., an officer initiated a traffic stop on North Market Street near Staunton Road. The driver was found to be suspended with multiple valid warrants and in possession of open containers and drugs. Austin Geuy, 27, of Troy, was arrested and released to Champaign County.

Sept. 16

POSSESSION: A passenger in a traffic stop was cited for possession of marijuana and a pipe.

THEFT: An officer responded to the 1300 block of Maplecrest Drive on a report of a burglary.

CAR INTO HOUSE: Travis Vickers, of Troy, was the driver of the vehicle which crashed into a home on North Street. Charges pending OVI investigation.

OVI: At 6:32 a.m. an officer initiated a traffic stop on West Main and Elm Street. Rey Quintero, 24, of Troy, was cited for OVI, drug paraphernalia and released.

TRESPASSING: A trespassing report was filed on a report of people staying in a vacant house in the 600 block of Franklin Street.

Sept. 17

CHECK ISSUE: A Wright-Patt Credit Union employee reported “check kiting.” Case pending.

Sept. 18

JUVENILE ISSUE: SRO Waite cited a male juvenile for smoking and littering.

Sept. 19

ALARM: Officers responded to CR Butts business on a report of a break-in. Case pending.
