Information provided by the Troy Police Department:

Oct. 6

OVI: Matthew Delaronde, 31, of Paw Paw, Mich. was cited for OVI, no driver license and marked lanes.

RESISTING ARREST: David Thomas, 43, of Troy, was charged with misconduct at the scene of an emergency and resisting arrest.

DRUG OFFENSE: Christopher French, 31, of Troy, was charged with possession of drugs at Walmart.

Oct. 8

CHILD ENDANGERING: Mickel Archer, 29, of Piqua, was charged with possession of drugs and child endangerment in the area of Crescent Drive.

THEFT: Leslie Peppo, 41, West Milton, was charged with theft at Kohl’s.

BURGLARY: Destiny Manier, 23, of Troy, was charged with burglary.

Oct. 9

THEFT: Jordan Smith, 21, of Troy, allegedly stole $5.08 worth of food from a paying customer at Culver’s. A manager reported this is the third time Smith has come into the restaurant and tried to get others to buy him food. Smith refused to leave and then was charged with trespassing. Officers noted Smith is notorious for this action. Smith was charged with theft and trespassing and transported to jail.

VEHICLE BREAK-IN: Residents in the area of the 500 block of Plum and West Simpson streets reported a number of vehicles were broken into. One resident reported $20 in change and blood pressure medicine was stolen from her car.

THEFT: Jordan Smith, 21, of Troy, was charged with theft and criminal trespassing.

Oct. 10

DRUG POSSESSION: An officer was dispatched to Kohl’s for a suspicious priority. Two adult males were arrested for shoplifting. One of the males was also charged with possession of drugs; report completed.

THEFT: An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. The suspect was charged with theft.

VANDALISM: An officer responded in regards to the skate park being spray painted. The officer found someone had spray painted ‘666’ on a majority of the ramps along with some other jargon, which was not legible. Photos were taken and attached to this case.

DISORDERLY: Brent Curtis, 58, of Troy, was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct at Kroger.

THEFT: Joshua Sowers, 45, of Troy, was charged with theft and possession of criminal tools.

Oct. 12

JUVENILE ISSUES: An officer was dispatched to the area of the CSX train trestle behind Hobart Cabinet on East Water Street in reference to subjects using drugs. Two juveniles were found under the trestle. One was found in possession of marijuana. One juvenile charged for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 13

WARRANT: An officer located Rana Brock, 41, of Piqua, who had an outstanding warrant. Upon informing the subject of the warrant, the subject fled the scene in her vehicle. A pursuit entailed to where the subject’s vehicle was spike stripped in the area of Troy Ford. The vehicle then continued to travel and made its way to the Circle K parking lot. Force was used to extract Brock from the vehicle when she failed to comply. She was charged with third-degree felony failure to comply. Subject was cleared from UVMC and incarcerated.

INDUCING PANIC: Logan Ford, 26, of Troy, was charged with inducing panic.

Oct. 14

THREAT: Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Meadow Lane on a menacing complaint. A mailman reported an unknown male threatened him with a firearm during his routine mail route. After investigation, Robert Allen, 41, of Troy, was cited for aggravated menacing and a firearm was seized.

DRUG ISSUE: Property was found inside Kohl’s dressing room. The property is believed to be heroin. The property was checked into the property room to be destroyed. No owner information is known.

Oct. 15

BURGLARY: Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Grant Street on reports of a male knocking on the back door of a residence. Contact was made with Nicholas Brown, 24, of Tipp City, who made his way into the residence. After investigation, it was determined Brown committed a theft offense and was charged with second-degree felony burglary and incarcerated.

OVI: Christopher Gregg Jr., 26, of Dayton, was cited for OVI.

Oct. 16

ASSIST AGENCY: An assist agency complaint was filed for Mansfield Police Department. The vehicle in question was found in front of 1205 Bunker Hill Court. The vehicle was towed and impounded at the request of Mansfield Police Department. No charges were filed by the Troy Police Department.

DRUG OFFENSE: Gary Sullenberger Jr., 34, of Troy, was cited for possession of drugs.

Oct. 17

THEFT: Officers were dispatched to 1300 Archer Drive in reference to a theft of a bicycle. Officers had just dealt with a male in the area who was riding a bicycle, which matched the description of the bicycle that was stolen. The male was located and he was arrested for the theft of the bicycle and he was also in possession of drug and drug paraphernalia. The male suspect was incarcerated at the MCSO.
